Currently, we are offering these services within Ottawa to single and multi family homes, with boundaries defined by the Ottawa River (North), Trim Road (East - Orleans), Barnsdale Road (South - Barrhaven), and Stittsville Main Street (West - Stittsville). At this time, we are unable to offer this service to apartment buildings, as Earthub Bins must be placed directly outside your front door.

Collection items should be clean. If you have added items from the 'premium collection' to your Earthub Bin without subscribing to these add-ons, those items will be left behind. You will receive further details about the accepted plastics—rest assured, it includes nearly all films and packaging! If all items do not fit in your Earthub Bin, we will gladly collect any overflow if it’s placed in a bag or box next to your bin.

As part of our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, specific days of the week will be designated to certain neighbourhoods with collections happening in the morning from 7am to 12pm (Earthub Bin shall be left out the night before). You will receive further details about your collection day following your subscription purchase. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Your subscription will include pick-ups during the following weeks:

• November 25
• December 9, 23 (If your collection day falls on Christmas or Boxing Day, pick-up will be postponed to later in the week.)
• January 6, 2025

Earthub values transparency regarding your materials. We are currently working to form partnerships with reputable recycling companies that specialize in hard-to-recycle plastics. The challenge we face is demonstrating that we have sufficient quantities while ensuring our operations can manage the incoming volumes, which is why this is a trial run! Once partnerships are finalized, whether through reuse or proper recycling, we will always share where your materials are going.
